Re-Painting Walls Author: Rusty81

Whether you want to repair damage to existing walls, or add a fresh splash of color, painting is a simple yet arduous task.  The amount of time and effort it takes to paint is non-trivial, however here are some tips for ensuring you don’t have to repaint or add an excessive amount of coats.  First, paint primer should be used for most any surface.  This will seal the surface and allow for new paint coats to adhere better.  You will also want to ensure at least two coats of paint are applied to the surface.  When painting, using a roller over a brush on wide surfaces will help save time and ensure fewer missed spots.

To prepare for a surface to be painted, you will want to tape off parts which are separate, and also lay down towels or a canvas on the floor.
